Wild Rift New Upcoming Dragons

In the upcoming patches, Riot will introduce the Elemental Dragons and the Dragonsoul. These Dragons take over the map and are able to change the terrain. Each Dragon offers different buffs and souls. These dragons already exist in Wild Rift but they give different buffs and have no soul.

There are already existing Dragons in Wild Rift but these will change the game and have a huge impact on how every game is played out. They will adapt what they already have in their original gaming title League of Legends tweak it a little bit and implement it into Wild Rift.

Dragons

Fire Drake

The Fire Drake is a red Dragon that gives your whole team currently 8% more damage, but that will be changed to extra AD and AP once they release the elemental map. The Dragon soul gives every 3rd auto-attack or ability an AOE explosion that can deal a lot of damage depending on the user of it.

Fire Dragon

The whole terrain changes and it opens up the whole map. Bushes disappear at the red buff and the dragon pit opens up way more. Some walls around the map split up or disappear and make more space overall. This makes it for champions like Rengar really hard to play since there are fewer bushes to use in the jungle, but on the other hand, it makes life easier for Champions with high movement speed and less mobility.

Mountain Drake

The Mountain Dragon gives currently a shield that with 6% of maximum health as a shield after 5 seconds of not taking damage. This will be changed to extra armor and magic resistance. In addition to that there will be a soul that will give the shield this time around.

Mountain Dragon

The same as with every other dragon the terrain is changing if there is a Mountain soul available to obtain. There are walls appearing around the map and the map is getting denser. This whole change makes some champions being more way more powerful once they use the walls.

Cloud Dragon

This drake is currently Grants 7.5% bonus movement speed, doubled to 15% when out-of-combat. That will change a little bit once they release the new one since it will give slow resistance on top of that. The cloud soul will give a huge movement speed buff once you activate your ultimate.

Cloud Dragon

The terrain doesn’t really change on this dragon but it creates wind currents in the Jungle and in the dragon pit making everyone who steps into that area gain a ton of movement speed. Almost any champion can benefit from this except those that have a lot of skill shots and try to fight in that area.

Ocean Dragon

The Ocean drake is currently granting 8% Physical Vamp and Magical Vamp. That will change completely and will be health regen. The cloud soul will give a huge movement speed buff once you activate your ultimate. The soul will be the one that is going to give Physical and Magical Vamp.

Ocean Dragon

The terrain changes a lot with this soul activated. There are way more bushes almost everywhere making it a dream for every assassin player, especially for Rengar mains. It makes everything so hard to ward and have vision.

Conclusion

These Dragon changes will for sure shake the meta as a whole. Right now there are some dragons that are overpowered and the whole game revolves around them, on the other hand, there are some dragons that are almost useless.

This will bring new fresh air into Wild Rift and change the game. It will make things more interesting and not so stale since we have the same dragons for seasons now.

Wild Rift Item Guide: How to Avoid Losing to the Shopkeeper

In Wild Rift, there are plenty of different items with every Champion using different ones to gain an advantage. There are core items and there are also some situational items. This means that for every different situation you need to build depending on your enemies and their items.

In this guide, we are going to explain to you how many players across all elos included Challenger make huge mistakes in their item pathing, losing all their lead. We are going to call this guide on how to avoid losing to the shopkeeper in Wild Rift.

Fundamentals

There are two categories for items the core items and the situational items.

Core

These are items that exist for almost every champion and have to be built to be able to play the game properly.

Situational

Situational items are bought only under specific circumstances and can be flexed around depending on the situation.

Boots and Upgrades

There are exactly five different pairs of boots, with seven different upgrades you can choose off. Most of you will think that is easy, but it isn’t as easy as you think it is.

Almost all of the players are building the wrong boots or are building their boots on at the wrong time in the game. On the upgrades, people are making even poorer choices.

Gluttonous Greaves

If you are playing ADC or someone like Tryndamer or Rengar for example you can build these boots, but they aren’t core. It gives lifesteal and they are pretty good if build relatively early in the game when you suffer from it and want to sustain through the lane or in specific duels.

  • Sprint: Increases movement speed by 15% for 3 seconds. Dealing or taking damage from champions removes this effect (60 second cooldown).
  • Seconds: +8% Physical Vamp
  • Thirds: +8% Magical Vamp

Mercury’s Treads

These are some of the most situational boots on the game that can build by practically anyone. Since they give 35% tenacity making you even more immune to crowd control. It is very strong if you play against something like Ashe, Ahri, Malphite, etc. They are very strong and can be game-changing in a lot of situations. These boots are also not core and very situational.

  • Footwear: +40 movement speed
  • Enchanted: +10 magic resistance
  • Tenacity: Reduces the duration of stuns,  slows, taunts, fears, silences,  blinds, and immobilizes by 35%.

Plated Steelcaps

In the case, you are playing against a full AD composition, or someone on the team that has a lot of auto-attacks is fed, these boots can be built and should be a priority. You can also build them if you are laning against a Vayne, Tryndamere, Fiora, etc. on a solo lane or whatever does a lot of auto-attack damage. For example, you can build them on your first back and you will almost neutralize the enemy Tryndamere completely since it blocks 15% of the auto-attack damage.

  • Footwear: +40 movement speed
  • Enchanted: +15 armor
  • Block: Blocks 15% of damage from basic attacks.

Ionian Boots

These are the boots that should be built if you are playing an enchanter Support or if you play Evelynn for example. Their Ability Haste is very helpful to have a low cooldown on your abilities but can make you very vulnerable. They also give a 15% Cooldown on your summoner spells that can be very helpful if you are playing these squishy supports that have to flash away more often.

  • Footwear: +40 movement speed
  • Lucidicity: +15 ability haste
  • Summoned: Reduces summoner spell cooldowns by 15%.

Boots of Swiftness

These boots are very niche and can be used by Champions like Singed or even maybe by some assassins if they need a higher movement speed to roam around the map.

  • Footwear: +50 movement speed
  • Sleek: Movement speed slows are reduced by 30%.

Gargoyle Enchant

This is a very good active Item if you are the primary engage in your team. For example, if you are playing Jarvan IV, Alistar or Rakan, this will be your must-go item since you are able to dive into a lot of enemies and find the maximum value out of its activity. This will make you an absolute unkillable tank that can peel for his team.

  • Stoneplate: Increase your maximum health by 65%, while reducing your damage dealt by 60% for 4 seconds. If there are 3 or more enemy champions nearby, increase maximum health by 130% instead (45 second cooldown).

Glorious Enchant

This active Item can be used by mostly some junglers. It is a very good item to be bought on the first back. It makes ganking very easy with Champions like Xin Zhao, Olaf or Gragas. You can activate it once you start running towards your enemies and will almost guarantee them burning their flash or them dying.

  • Glory: Gain 15% bonus movement speed for 4 seconds, increasing to 60% towards enemy champions or turrets. After 4 seconds or upon reaching an enemy champion emits a shockwave that slows nearby enemies by 50% for 2 seconds (45 second cooldown).

Locket of Enchant

This is a very good item if you are playing Support, it will apply a shield on your whole team making them even tankier and securing you a lot of assists. Otherwise, this active item isn’t a good one to build and is not really recomended.

  • Locket: Shield yourself and all nearby allied champions from 70 − 420 (based on level) damage for 2.5 seconds (60 second cooldown).
This effect is reduced by 50% if the target has been affected by another Locket in the last 20 seconds.

Protobelt Enchant

This is a very good active item if you are playing something that needs a gap closer to execute some specific combo in the game, like Evelynn, Jax, or Galio. With the dash, you can surprise and catch your enemies of guard hitting your full combo when they aren’t prepared for it.

  • Protobelt: Dash forward and unleash a cone of missiles that deal 75 − 145 (based on level) magic damage. If champions or monsters are hit by more than one missile, the additional missiles deal only 10% damage (60 second cooldown).

Quicksilver Enchant

Never built this trash active.

  • Quicksilver: Removes all crowd control (except knock-ups and knock-backs) effects currently affecting you, and gain 50% bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds (60 second cooldown).

Redeeming Enchant

This is a very good active if you are playing Support and especially an enchanter one. You can heal across the map getting assists while you sit at your lane. It can also be used to reveal some areas from very far away if you dont want to face check the area.

  • Redeem:  Reveal a position and after 2.5 seconds, a beam of light heals allies for 25 − 375 (based on level), while enemies take 10% of their maximum health as true damage. Minions and monsters take 250 true damage instead (60 second cooldown).
This effect is reduced by 50% if the target has been affected by another Redemption within the last 20 seconds.

Shadows Enchant

This isn’t a good item only on specific Champions like trash or even Blitzcrank maybe. Otherwise, it is pretty useless.

  • Shadows: Summons 2 ghosts that seek out nearby enemy champions. On contact, a champion is revealed and slowed by 40% for up to 5 seconds, based upon travel time (60 second cooldown).

Stasis Enchant

This is the best active Item in the game and counters almost everything that exists. It’s a free stasis every two minutes that allows you to dodge certain ultimates or combos from your enemies. Its the best choice if you are playing ADC, since you are the squishiest target and easy to kill. It should be built every time you play against an assassin on almost every champion.

  • Stasis: Put yourself in stasis for 2.5 seconds, rendering yourself invulnerable for the duration but becoming unable to move, declare basic attacks, cast abilities or item actives, or use any summoner spells during this time (120 second cooldown).

Teleport Enchant

This should be bought from anyone besides the Baron laner, and even he shouldn’t be buying this item except if he is some macro genius that can calculate when he has to TP. It isn’t the best Item for solo queue since you won’t have synergy with all your four teammates.

  • Teleport: After channeling for 3.5 seconds, teleport your champion to an allied champion, structure, or ward (180 second cooldown).

AD Items

AD items are usually the ones that are being used by Champions that deal physical damage. A lot of ADC’s are building very bad items and making poor choices setting themselves behind and losing a lot of tempo.

On the other hand, you have AD assassins that have almost no situational Items because they just go the standard lethality build.

Mortal Reminder vs Serylda’s Grudge

VS

This is one of the most common mistakes even top 50 players on the ladder do. There is a specific situation where you should always build Mortal Reminder and that’s when you play against healing Champions, like Soraka, Sona, or Mundo. If you are playing ADC and play against Soraka or Sona you should buy always Executioner’s Calling. In almost any other situation you should prioritize Serylda’s Grudge since it’s way more powerful and gives way more value.

Trinity vs  Iceborn Gauntlet

VS

I am making this section specifically for all the Ezreal mains because I can’t handle watching the worst mistake in the game. These two items don’t stack stop building them together, you arent some mastermind genius that figured the relativity theory of Wild Rift, they just don’t work and lose 3000 gold into nothing. Now for the ones that can’t decide which one they should build.

If the enemy is full AD you should always build Iceborn Gauntlet and never Trinity Force, don’t get scared if the enemy has a Lux Support or Seraphine just go for Icebron if the rest is full AD. Never build Icebron Gauntlet into AP mid or more than one AP carries on the enemy team on solo or jungle, they will obliterate you, and you will be useless.

Black Cleaver vs Trinity

VS

This is one of the longest debates we had in League of Legends even before Wild Rift was released. Trinity is good if you are playing against squishies that have almost no armor. I have seen a lot of people building Black Cleaver even if the enemy has almost no armor to shred losing almost 3000 gold value at this point of the game, resulting in losing tempo into their enemies.

Losing tempo means losing the snowball you have built for yourself and setting yourself behind for no reason at all. Trinity is core for Champions like Jax but otherwise, you should always watch what the enemy is building.

Deaths Dance vs Blade of the Ruined King vs Bloodthirster

VS

VS

This is also a big debate between ADC’s. Deaths Dance should be always built if you see an enemy playing Assasin, this will save you from being blasted from one combo.

Bloodthirster is always good if you are playing something like Caitlyn, Draven that has not as much of attack speed but very high raw power. Blade of the Ruined king should always be built if you play against high HP enemies like Mundo and Galio, otherwise, you should always prioritize other attack speed items since the passive of Blade of the Ruined King will be wasted.

AP Items

These are the items that are used almost exclusively by Midlaners and by some Junglers. They deal magic damage and are very complicated to use for some players.

A lot of players are building wrong items losing tempo and not being able to accelerate that lead into bigger leads, instead, they build the wrong item and fall behind really fast.

Infinity Orb

You should nenver build this item first or second, only if you already have 10+ kills 5 minutes into the game. I have seen midlaners building this Item second or even first losing all their lead. Even worse is this item if you are behind, there is actually 0% you are going to drop anyone on the map below 30% hp with just two items in your inventory to be able to make use of its passive. Its a very good item if you play an AP assassin to build it as the 4th or 5th item.

Awakened Soulstealer

You should never build this item, its completely useless and gives almost no value. Its passive is trash and you are losing 2500 gold into a dead item, that might be useful if you kill all five enemies.

Liandry’s Torment vs Luden’s Echo

VS

Luden’s Echo is very strong if you are playing against very squishy targets, Liandrys on the other hand is very good if you play against three or more tanks to be able to shred their HP.

Tank Items

These are the items that are mostly used by junglers and Baron laners since there is where the most tanks are played.

These are some very important items that should be built against specific opponents and can be used to even counter them.

Thornmail

Thornmail is your friend if you play against heavy healing and heavy AD compositions. Whenever you see Sona, Soraka, and Mundo just built Bramble Vest and complete it later on. This way you will apply anithealing on your enemies and minimize the healing on them.

Abyssal Mask vs Spirit Visage

VS

You should always build Spirit Visage if you are having any item or ability that is healing you a lot, otherwise, it’s always Abyssal Mask, since you won’t get any use of the Spirit Visage passive. Don’t forget that you won’t need any Magic resist item if you play against a full AD comp.

Conclusion

This is almost the most important thing anyone has to do in Wild Rift to be able to win with the shopkeeper and not lose by it. If you are able to execute the guide here you will elevate your winrate for sure.

Since it’s a very new game and most of the players never played League of Legends, this is quite normal to not know all the items and their functionality.

Wild Rift: Arcane Character Guide

This is the first animated series of Riot Games and its been released on the 6th of November on Netflix. It has been an all-round hit and is already number one in several countries. Week by week they release a new act of the story with the final act coming out on 20th November.

The story takes place in a big town that is separated in two, one named Piltover and the other one Zaun. Piltover is the town where all the rich and sophisticated people live and Zaun on the other hand is the underworld where all the rejected and poor ones live. The two main characters of the story are Jinx and Vi that live in Zaun. There are also other characters like Jayce and Caitlyn who live in Piltover. We are going to show you the ones that are in Wild Rift and playable at the moment.

Jinx

She is one of the main characters in the series. Jinx lives in Zaun with her sister Vi and Vander. She is also one of the characters with the most development in the series overall.

If you were fascinated by the character in the series, you will maybe want to play her in Wild Rift. She is an ADC(stands for Attack Damage Carry) that can shoot from far away with her gatling gun. She can also shoot with rockets and has several abilities that do damage and root the enemies. Her ultimate is a huge rocket that does a lot of damage if the enemy is low on health.

Vi

She is the bigger sister of Jinx and is also one of the main characters in the series. She also lives in Zaun. She is also the one that is a leader of group that tries to steal things from the upper world Piltover and is very carring with Jinx.

Vi is played in the Jungle role and is pretty easy to play if you want to hop into a game and try her. She is a Champion with a lot of croud controll and physical damage. She is also pretty tanky and can always engage into the fights.

Jayce

This is one of the characters that lives in Piltover and is pretty much privileged. He is also a scientist who tries to controll magic with science and also achieves it. He is one of the best if not the best scientist in Piltover who tries to explore things no one else dares to.

In the game Jayce is a character that has two forms, one is his melee form and the other one is the ranged form. He has no ultimate but has six different abilites, if you use them in the correct order you almost one shot any squishy enemie target in the game. He is pretty hard to play and not a very beginner friendly champion, so it wouldnt be the best idea if you are beginner to start off with this one.

Caitlyn

She is the daughter of some aristocrats the are viewed very highly in Piltover. She is the assistant of Jayce and the best friend of him. Later on she becomes an enforcer and tries to battle criminality.

Caitlyn like Jinx is an ADC, that can shoot from really far away, since she has the highest range in the game. She is not complicated at all to play and has a very playin kit. Most of her damage comes out of auto attacks. She also has traps that can stun people aswell as a jump that slow their enemies. Her ultimate can be used as an execute that locks into an enemy and shoots from really far away.

Singed

He is the chemist of Silco that produces different potions for him that are very dangerous if used with wrong intentions. So far overall we havent seen a lot of him and is almost a side character.

Singed is a Baron laner that is deals magic damage with his poison. His strength is splitpushing since he is able to run very fast with his ultimate and clean up waves very fast. He is not hard to play but hard to be successfull with, since you have to know where you can position yourself and how far you can push the wave before you are totally overextended.

Conclusion

If you are interested taking a deeper dive into the world of League of Legends, you can always start playing one of their games. If you are new this is a good overall explanation how each of the characters of the show work.

Some of you might not enjoy the game as much as the show. If so just better stick to the show. But the Wild Rift community is open and welcoming to everyone that wants to try a new game.

The 5 Easiest Junglers to Play in Wild Rift

The easiest way to climb contains a lot of things but one of the most important ones is to play easy Champions. So even if you are picking up a new role, it is important to start of with the easier champions before jumping into the harder ones. This is why we chose 5 Champions that have definitely a very low skill ceiling and are very easy to pick up and have success on them.

This guide will represent you the 5 easiest junglers where even the worst ones of you can reach higher ranks if you pick them up and put minimum effort into them. We will focus on their clear, abilities, and playstyle.

Xin Zhao, the Seneschal of Demacia

This is a jungler that is very easy to play and very strong at the moment. You will have the opportunity to snowball games on your own and win a lot of skirmishes with no effort.

Clear

Xin Zhao has the healthiest jungle clear in the game due to his passive giving you health back for every 3rd autoattack. You will always start at your red, move over to the raptor camp.

Then you will go to your wolves, finish your blue and run straight to the scuttle crab. If the enemy jungler tries to contest you, just fight him you win every skirmish before level 5 against every jungler. From there on you try to look for easy ganks.

Abilities

  • Passive: Every third attack deals bonus damage and heals Xin Zhao.

  • Ability 1: Xin Zhao’s next 3 standard attacks deal increased damage with the third attack knocking an opponent into the air.

  • Ability 2: Xin Zhao slashes in front of himself with his spear, then thrusts it forward, slowing affected enemies.

  • Ability 3: Xin Zhao charges to an enemy, dealing damage to all enemies in the area and slowing them briefly.

  • Ultimate: Xin Zhao deals damage to nearby enemies based on their current Health and knocks non-challenged targets back. Xin Zhao is impervious to damage dealt by champions outside of the circle created.

Playstyle

You want always to pre-press Ability 1, then Ability 2 to slow the target and engage with your 3rd Ability, auto-attacking the enemy till you knock him up. By this point, the enemy should be low enough to take him down with some more auto-attacks. Even if you go too deep and regret it you can instantly press your ultimate and deflect every damage outside its radius.

Due to your ultimate, you can be the primary engage for your team in the team fight. You can even pick someone apart knocking with your Ultimate knocking the rest of their team away from yourself.

Evelynn, Agony’s Embrace

This one is also a very easy jungler that can literally hard carry at every elo, due to her invisibility and scaling really hard in the late game. If you get early kills with this Champion you are going to be literally terrorizing the whole map just with your presence.

Clear

Evelynn has one the fastest jungle clears in the game and a very healthy one. It requires little to no skill to clear the jungle and will need a full clear to reach level 5. You will start at your red and from there on you will go to your krugs and then to your raptors.

After that, you will move on to your wolves, into blue, and take the scuttle if it is uncontested, if the enemy jungler tries to contest you just go away if your laners won’t help you and get your gromp.

Abilities

  • Passive, Demon Shade: When Evelynn is out of combat she enters the Demon Shade. If she is low on health Demon Shade will heal her to a limited amount. Once she hits level 5 entering the Demon Shade confers her stealth.

  • Ability (1), Hate Spike: Unleashes two lines of spikes, dealing magic damage.

  • Ability (2), Allure: Evelynn curses the enemy after a while, the mark is loaded she and if she attacks the enemy it will charm and shred their magic resist. If it isn’t fully loaded it will slow them.

  • Ability (3), Whiplash: This ability is an empowered auto attack and a small dash that deals more damage if Evelynn is her Demon Shade. After she cast she gains movement speed.

  • Ultimate, Last Caress: Evelynn briefly goes untargetable and decimates the area in front of her before warping backwards a long distance. She deals more damage if the target is below 30% health.

Playstyle

Her playstyle is pretty straightforward and easy to execute. You want to press your Ability 2 on the enemy Champion and then Ability 1 or 3 to charm him and finalize it with your ultimate if he is low enough to secure a kill.

You should always look for flanks and try not to be the one who engages in the fight. You should always look for overextended sidelaners you punish through your invisibility.

Master Yi, the Wuju Bladesman

He is the easiest jungler by far to play and is the strongest jungle in low elo. He is pretty straightforward because he has no skill shots and just runs into the enemies pressing auto attacks.

Clear

With Master Yi you start with the red buff and you go on to your krugs and then to your raptors.

After that, you will move on to your wolves, into blue, and take the scuttle and you instantly hit level 5 and be ready to run down the enemies.

Playstyle

He has the simplest playstyle a champion can have. You will have to let your team engage and once there is no enemy cc left, you press your Ultimate and start slicing with your Ability 1 through the enemies and auto-attacking them to death.

You should always look for flanks and try not to be the one who engages in the fight. You should never engage because the enemy team is going to oneshot you instantly without even dealing any damage.

Olaf, the Berserker

This is another candidate for an absolute easy jungler that requires no skill to execute his abilities and is very good in the lower elo’s.

Clear

With Olaf you have a very healthy clear due to his passive and the resets on his Ability (1) making it very easy to clear your jungle. You will have to start on your red and then clear your raptors.

From there you go to your wolves, clear your blue and then take the crab, and don’t be afraid contesting it.

Abilities

  • Passive: Olaf’s Attack Speed is increased by 1% for each 1% of his Health he is missing.

  • Ability 1: Olaf throws an axe into the ground at a target location, dealing damage to enemies it passes through and slowing their Movement Speed. If Olaf picks up the axe, the ability’s cooldown is reduced by 4.5 seconds.

  • Ability 2: Olaf’s Attack Speed is increased, he gains Physical Vamp and has increased healing from all sources based on how much Health he is missing.

  • Ability 3:Olaf dashes to an enemy and attacks with such force that it deals true damage to his target. If the target does not die, Olaf takes true damage.

  • Ultimate: Olaf temporarily becomes immune to disables.

Playstyle

It’s pretty straightforward what you have to do with Olaf. You activate your Ultimate run into the enemies and press all your abilities. Try to catch your axes so you can get resets.

You should always be the one that engages the fight and the one that gets into the face of the enemy ADC to make him waste as many abilities as possible on your or even kill him.

Wukong, the Monkey King

This Champion isn’t the easiest of the one’s mentioned already but he is pretty easy and doesn’t require much skill to understand how his kit works.

Clear

Wukong has a bit sketchy since he hasn’t the healthiest clear but it gets better after the first back. You will always start with your red and then finish your raptors.

You go to wolves clear them and then get your blue and from there you will have to be careful at the crab since you arent the strongest early game jungler.

Playstyle

With Wukong it gets a bit tricky. If you play him as a bruiser, you should always be the one that engages the fight. But if you play him full lethality you should look for flanks to one-shot the ADC.

But most of the time you should play him as a bruiser to be able to engage the fights very easy and knock up the whole enemy team.

Conclusion

Learning to play an easy Jungler can give you a kickstart into the role and help you learn it without having to focus on your mechanics. Instead, you can focus on your pathing and other things.

If you pick one of these suggested Champions you will surely have success and a much easier time in the jungle.

Wild Rift Guide: How to Play Senna

In today’s article, we are going to show you Senna and how to play her In League of Legends: Wild Rift. Senna is a Support with range and high damage, She is a very strong solo queue champion.

Like every other champion, Senna has her own playstyle, strengths, and weaknesses. We’ll cover everything and more so stick around!

Senna, the Redeemer

Cursed from childhood to be haunted by the supernatural Black Mist, Senna joined a sacred order known as the Sentinels of Light, and fiercely fought back—only to be killed, her soul imprisoned in a lantern by the cruel wraith Thresh. But refusing to lose hope, within the lantern Senna learned to use the Mist, and reemerged to new life, forever changed. Now wielding darkness along with light, Senna seeks to end the Black Mist by turning it against itself—with every blast of her relic weapon, redeeming the souls lost within.

Senna’s Abilities

  • Passive, Absolution: When units die near Sena, their souls are periodically trapped in the black mist. Senna can attack these souls to release them and absorb the fog that caused them to die. Mist enhances the power of her relic cannon by increasing attack damage, attack range, and critical strike rate. Senna’s relic cannon’s attack takes longer to fire, causing additional damage and briefly providing her with a part of the target’s movement speed.

  • Ability (1), Piercing Darkness: The cast range of Piercing Darkness matches Senna’s attack range, and its cast time will increase with the attack speed. It can aim at anything and apply a hit effect to the enemy hero.

  • Ability (2), Last Embrace: Senna emits a wave of black mist. If it hits an enemy, it will grab them eagerly, rooting them and everything nearby after a short delay.

  • Ability (3), Curse of the Black Mist: Sena sucked the mist she had stored in her weapon into the storm around her, embracing the darkness and becoming a ghost in her heart. Allies who enter the area will be disguised and will appear like ghosts when the mist covers them. Ghosts gain higher movement speed, cannot choose, and hide their identities.

  • Ultimate, Dawning Shadow: Senna summons the relic stone of the fallen sentinel and splits her relic cannon into a sacred array of light and shadow. Then she fires a global beam to protect allies from harm and at the same time damage enemies trapped in the center.

How to Play Senna

Runes

Before the game even starts it is very important to choose the right runes, so the champion can accelerate as much as possible and unleash her full potential.

Keystone: For Senna, you choose Grasp of the Undying as your keystone since it’s giving you a lot of sustain and can be charged really fast with your first ability. On top of that it increases your health bar and you can poke the enemies during the laning phase.

Grasp of the Undying

Slot 1, (Domination): For this, you go Brutal to have the extra AD and armor penetration during your laning phase. Furthermore, this rune helps a lot if you have early game skirmishes.

Brutal Wild RIft

Slot 2, (Resolve): For this one, you will choose Hunter Titan since you don’t have a lot of mobility and you want yourself to have as much tenacity as possible to get out of sticky situations.

Hunter Titan Wild Rift

Slot 3, (Inspiration): The Hunter-Genius Rune gives Ability Haste and Ability Haste for every unique champion takedown. It will allow you to have a small cooldown on your Ultimate and the rest of your abilities.

These are the runes that you should use. If some other runes suit you better you can try them out and leave a comment down below.

Skill Order

  • You always max your Ability (1) first since it’s the main damage in your kit and also the main ability to poke people from far away.

  • The second one you max is Ability (2) which is the ability that can CC the enemies from really far away.

  • The last one you max is Ability (3) this one is important since it is your only mobility.

Combo

The main combo will always be Ability (2) into Ability (1). At the early stages of the game, you preferably want to hit an auto-attack or Ability (1) to get as many souls as possible to increase your range. Here are now some other combos you can do with Senna:

Another combo is to just press Ability (3) and Ability(2) and then Ability(1) auto-attack. In addition, you can do that but also use Ultimate if this isn’t enough to kill the target. Another trick you can do is to use your Ability (1)  through minions to increase its range.

Early game

Laning Phase: First of you want to start poking with your Piercing Darkness during the laning phase and get your enemies low. this will also allow you to zone them from their own CS and get souls out of your enemies.

This is also a good ability to use on your ADC to heal him up or even heal yourself up.

Once you unlock all your 3 abilities you should look to poke down the enemy as much as possible and maybe go for an all in to kill them.

If you do this you will have a huge lead and a lot of souls and will be able to bully the enemy team without being touched.

Early game: You should always play passive and don’t die before the drake spawns. Ward properly and avoid ganks as much as possible since you are one of the most important members of your team if it comes down to a team fight in the bottom river. Get lane priority with your ADC and help your Jungler to secure the scuttle crab if he needs your help.

Early drake fights: Before the drake spawns go back and buy the items you need and regenerate your HP and Mana. During this time you should stick with your team because you will be vulnerable. Try to push out your wave and rotate to the dragon, so you can help your Jungler to secure it and fight the enemy team.

Rift Herald: Before the Rift Herald you should switch lane with your Baron lane to be around the next objective and help your Jungler to secure this one too.

Mid game

In the midgame, you want to poke and rotate around the map to push towers and collect souls with your teammates. You should heavily stay next to farming laners and help your team so you can reach your items and soouls as fast as possible.

The best lane to rotate is mid because getting the enemy mid-tower is very important to give space for your whole team.

Late game

Once the late game hits and you have enough items you will be an absolute death threat for the enemy team. You will have to punish everyone who is mispositioned or is overextended. Try to abuse your really high range from your stacked souls and finish them once they are low.

Baron fight: Let your team engage and throw your abilities from far away till the enemy team is chunked enough to kill them.

Itemization

You always start with a mana crystal. On your first back, you will always build Tear of the Goddess, and if you have enough gold Caulfield’s Warhammer. Your first full item will be the Manamune since its synergizing is very good with your Abilities and gives you Mana, AD, and Cooldown Reduction. For your second, you want to get is a Rapid Fire for an even higher range and more DPS.  The third item is going to be an Infinity Edge or Black Cleaver depends on the situation of the game.

The next item is going to be a Mortal Reminder so you will be able to hurt even the tankiest enemies and apply anti-heal. The go-to shoes are the Lifesteal Boots or even other boots depending on the situation of the game since they give you Lifesteal. You have to be flexible about what you are going to upgrade your boots too.

Senna’s counters

Nami

One of the greatest counters of Senna is Nami. If you play against a Nami don’t try to fight her, or even poke her since she is going to have a higher range at the start of the game and clearly outpoke you. You will have to constantly stay back and wait for your items and your souls to drop from minions otherwise you will have a really hard time.

Sona

Sona is another one of these supports that can easily outrange you and outheal your poke at the early game. Try to stay behind farm some souls and get ready to outscale her in the later stages.

How to play against other Supports

Lulu

Lulu is an easy opponent since you can farm souls on her and poke her all the time. You will constantly apply pressure on her and the enemy ADC.

Alistar

Alistar is an easy opponent since he has no range and you can easily farm souls from him. But you have to be careful to not get to close to him once he has a full combo available.

Braum

Braum is the easiest matchup since he cant do anything to prevent you from farming souls on him. You will have an easy time against Braum.

Conclusion

Senna is the ultimate scaling Champion that is useful through all stages of the game but has also a high impact in the late game since she is getting more range, AD, and crit chance through her souls.

Make sure to use the tips we presented you in this guide to unleash the full potential of Senna and be a true Support on the Rift. If you have any comments, questions, or feedback leave them below. Good luck climbing and see you soon Summoner!

Wild Rift vs Pokemon Unite

In this article, we are going to compare both games in their similarities and their differences.

Pokemon Unite and Wild Rift are 5 vs 5 MOBA games that are meant to be played on a mobile device.

Since they both are big franchises with Pokemon being a more popular one they are going to have to battle which one is going to be the number one MOBA in the mobile market.

Pokemon Unite is already released on the Nintendo Switch but is going to launch on 22th of September on mobile.

Pokemon Unite is set in Aeos island where players will be able to play some of their childhood favourite characters like Pikachu and Charizard.

The matches are quite short where the final goal of the game is to store as much Aeos energy and scoring a goal against the enemy team.

Pokemon Unite vs Wild Rift: Gameplay

Pokemon Unite as Wild Rift is played in 5 vs 5 modes but with major differences in the gameplay.

On the one hand, Wild Rift ultimate goal is to destroy the Nexus and win the game, while playing Pokemon Unite the goal of each team is scoring as many goals as possible with the hope to outscore the enemy team before the match finishes.

Both games have different characters that have some abilities and a passive, with Wild Rift having 1 ability more to use. One key difference is that Pokemon Unite games go on for only 10 minutes and Wild Rift games have an open ending.

Another difference between Pokemon Unite and Wild Rift is, that you cant buy any items in Pokemon and you are exclusively dependent on levels and skill.

Similar to Wild Rift, Pokemon Unite has each separate legendary monster your team can compete against. In the Top lane there is a Rift Herald like a monster that is called the Rotom, once the Rotom got into a goal the enemy team can score goals without charging.

On the bottom side of the map, there is a monster called Dreadnaw like the Drake in Wild Rift, that provides a massive experience buff to your whole team.

Once it reaches the final 2 minutes of the game a Zapdos is spawning in the middle of the map that is kinda the same as the Baron Nashor, with a big difference in what it actually provides.

The Zapdos makes the goals of the team that lost it defenseless and can be a target to score easy goals.

Another difference is, that Pokemon Unite has only 2 lanes and 1 Jungle, while Wild Rift has 3 lanes and a Jungle.

This makes Wild Rift way more complex to play and kinda hard for new players to join and catch up easily.

Like in Wild Rift you will need different heroes on your team to make things actually work, like a support a tank and a bruiser. These are all fundamentals that don’t change from one game to another.

Pokemon Unite vs Wild Rift: Characters

The League of Legends universe has over 150 Champions, but they aren’t all available on Wild Rift at the moment with Riot Games adding different ones from one event to the next one.

In the Pokemon universe, there are over 900 available Pokemons without any evolution in it, with Pokemon having way more characters compared to Wild Rift, but a lot of these Pokemons are very similar to each other compared to the Champions in the League of Legends universe.

Some of the Pokemon Unite characters share the same abilities as some Wild Rift ones, like Gengar’s Ultimate that is almost the same as Kassadin’s, there is also Lucario that is a fighter and has similar abilities to Vi or Cinderace that is also very similar to Quinn.

Pokemon Unite has the ability to get way more characters in its game but they won’t be as unique as the characters in Wild Rift since they are very similar ones from generation to generation.

Which game is better?

In my opinion, there isn’t simply a better game between these 2, since they are both very enjoyable and have short game times.

Every game has its own pros and cons making it hard for someone to be able to say if one game is better than the other.

Wild Rift is a more in-depth and complex game than Pokemon Unite and every player will have to decide which game they are going to play or even play both.

Both are fun games and very polished MOBA for mobile devices, who is going to conquer at the end of the day is going to be answered in the near future.

Guide on How to Climb in Season 2

Season 2 is ending pretty soon and is very important for some of you to reach your desired rank. To make the happen you need to optimize whatever you are doing and this guide will help you with it.

Even if your desired rank to reach isn’t Diamond, this doesn’t matter because you can apply this to every rank you are playing in. I can assure you that this will help since I climbed with several accounts through every ELO.

1. When does season 2 end?

Season 2 in Wild Rift ends on the 24th of July, so there is plenty of time to reach your desired rank if you follow our guide and the tips we provide you with. The highest rank you reached will be the rank you get your rewards in.

Rewards are given from gold and upwards. Your rank will be reset by one whole division once the next season starts. That’s also a good reason to climb as much as you can before the next season.

2. Play to your strengths, not your weaknesses

Whatever role you are playing at the moment keep playing, because there is no time left to learn a new role. You probably going to get worse results if you try to carry yourself through another role. We published a tier list, but if your main champions arent in marked as good as some other champions don’t worry and stick to them. That means to play the champions you are good with and make sure they are played in the same role.

Creator: 3D_generator

Try to create a tier list of the champions you are playing and mark your best one with S-tier your second one as A-tier and third as B-tier. Never play more than 3 champions, stick to the 1-3 you can play and grind the game. You will quickly realize that you will be way more consistent if you stick to 3 champions instead of trying out a new one every single game and trying to counter-pick the enemies. If you don’t have champions you are comfortable with just stick with our tier list and choose 3 S-tier champions of one role and spam them.

3. Use the right runes and builds

A lot of people aren’t using the runes or items that are the most optimal for their champions what makes them have way less success since of losing their power spikes or even wasting the gold they gained on wrong items. Understand your power spikes and when your champion is strong with a certain amount go items.

You will probably be wondering what the right items and runes are. The best way to find this out is in the menu when you click in the middle, press champion and lookup for the ones you are playing and copy the build and runes of a player that is Challenger and has the highest rank with this champion. Aside from that, there are situational items a lot of people aren’t using, for example, if you play ADC and the enemy team has a Soraka or a Sona try to build Executioners Calling as soon as possible to prevent the enemy from healing up.

4. Play a lot of games but know your limits

You have to play a lot of games but not too many. Know your limits and try to realize whenever you are exhausted to stop playing and do something else instead. You won’t reach your desired rank in a single day. Try to limit your games to a maximum of 12, of course, if you can play more you can play more.

You don’t have to play all those games in one sitting, try playing some games taking a break doing something else, and then getting back into the game and keep the grind up. If there is a day you had a lot of work to do and you have no energy try to not play at all and rest for the next day.

5. The right mentality to climb

I know a lot of you are complaining about your teammates and tend to tilt a lot. Don’t worry that happens even to the best of us. If you feel like you are getting a lot of bad games try to take a break and continue playing later. But what can you do if you are trapped in a game you feel is unwinnable?

Instead of steaming your anger out in the chat or going to Reddit and writing a rant, just sit down and play the game and try to think the best possible to win this game. I know there are some unwinnable games but most of the games below diamond are 100% winnable if you don’t tilt play for your win conditions. Try to find what your win conditions are instead of crying and blaming your team.

[Source] – Doublelift’s CLG Vayne guide

99% if you lose it’s your fault and no one else’s fault. You want to climb, stop complaining, stop the excuses and take a look at your mistakes and what you can do to get better. If you play ranked just to win and not get better is already a big mistake because you have to play to get better and improve.

Once you start getting better you will climb and reach higher ranks. If you cant see what your mistakes are, go and watch a replay of a game you lost and once you see your gameplay, you won’t believe how bad it actually looks.

If you have an AFK try to play the game out since you are playing to improve, test your limits and try things you normally wouldn’t, so you can sharpen your mechanics. Stop trying to influence things you can’t control and start influencing the things you can control. Another big mistake a lot of people are doing is blaming it on matchmaking and already giving up at champioselect. For example, a platinum player gets a gold player in his team and the platinum player is already mentally checked out before even the game begins. There is no matchmaking or some secret power that is holding you back, it’s all you and it all begins within your head.

Conclusion

We hope with this guide you will reach your goals by the end of the season. If you follow the tips we gave you in this guide there is no chance you won’t reach at least one more division from your current one.

We wish you the best of luck and a lot of success on the way to it. Good luck climbing and see you soon Summoner.

The Jungler’s Laner’s Guide to Climbing Low ELO in Wild Rift

Jungler’s often have the highest impact in the game and can easily take over games on their own. You can easily become a better jungler if you follow the steps of this guide and escape low ELO really quickly. This article is written by a challenger jungler named Xphstakhs whose peak was rank 26.

The jungle is the hardest role to master as it requires a lot of self-discipline, game knowledge, and the ability to be in multiple places at once. In this Mobalytics guide by Xphstakhs, we will be focusing on how to climb in low ELO as a Jungler: focusing on paths and objectives.

What is low elo?

Before we start with this guide, we have to exactly clarify what low ELO is, since every player from different ELO has a different benchmark of what low ELO is.

In this guide, we are gonna set the benchmark, that anything below Emerald is low ELO. Some of you may not agree with this but this is okay.

Jungle paths

First of all, you will have to know what the best jungle path is. Right now the best way to start your Jungle clear is by starting at the Krugs. You start there since they give a lot of gold and Experience and are easier to kill than any other camp level one.

Then you proceed to full clear your whole red side and you will be level three faster than most of your enemy junglers in these ELO’s, since this is a path mostly players in high ELO use.

After you cleared the red side you want either to gank or take the crab in the river. Preferably you want to take the crab since it’s guaranteed gold as well as vision in the whole river for you and your team.

After you got your crab and you are level four you can look for gank in the midlane since you will be higher level and most likely burn the enemy’s flash or even kill him.

After a successful gank in the midlane you want to move and either take the other crab if it is still alive. If it is gone you want to move to your blue side and clear these camps too. After two more camps, you will most likely be level five and unlock your ultimate ability. If you follow these steps you will already have an upper hand over the enemy jungler.

Objectives

Dragons

There are 4 different dragons in Wild Rift like in League of Legends. Each of them has a different element and gives different permanent buffs. Your ultimate goal is to get all 3 drakes before the Elder one spawns since these buffs will allow you and your team to overcome the enemy. The different elements are fire, cloud, mountain, and ocean.

You should always be around the dragon pit when one of them spawns and be ready to fight for it, since you are the one that wants to get the permanent buff and not the enemy team. To get to this goal you will have to kill the enemy jungler and ward in the right positions to have vision of the enemies. The points you want to ward are marked yellow on the map below.

Of course, there are some drakes that are more important than the others. For example, the highest priority is the infernal drake since he is the ones that give your team permanent damage. Second, on that list is the cloud drake that gives permanent movement speed.  The other 2 drakes aren’t as important as these we mentioned.

Rift Herald

The next objective we are going to focus on is the Rift Herald, since it’s the main one, that is going to most likely give your team that first tower gold. Apart from that, it can give you and our laner plating gold that can be used to access more items.

Once it spawns try to be there in time and ping your top laner or mid laner to assist you with it since it’s much easier to hit the eye of it from behind and kill it fast.

How to gank

Ganking is one of the most important tasks in Wild Rift since it can help you and your laner to get kills that can be translated into items then. It will be very hard to win a game if you don’t gank and let the enemy Jungle do it and punish your lanes. Knowing when and how to ganks is very important. The first thing you do before you gank is watching the map and watch which lane is pushed into your lane tower to see if there is an opportunity and space to take advantage of.

Then you want to see which of your laners has CC if the Champion you chose to play has already CC in his kit you don’t need to take that in mind. Try also to gank lanes that are already low hp or started a fight and have no summoner spells or any abilities to escape. Before you gank ping your laner so you know that you are on the way. If there isn’t a single lane pushed into your laners, try to anticipate which lane the enemy Jungle my gank next to be able to countersink him, or look for someone who is low hp under a tower to dive him with your laner.

Conclusion

To have success as a jungler in the lower brackets of the ladder can be exhausting sometimes. But once you follow the steps we showed you in this article you will have a much easier time and see improvement game by game.

If you have any questions or comments please leave them down below we can answer them for you.

Wild Rift Guide: How to Play Akali

In today’s article, we are going to show you Akali and how to play her In League of Legends: Wild Rift. Akali is an AP assassin with a high burst, mobility, and true stealth. She is a very strong solo queue champion.

To write this article, I interviewed GLD Random, a one-trick Challenger Akali. Check them out at @Random_WRift.

Like every other champion, Akali has her own playstyle, strengths, and weaknesses. We’ll cover everything and more so stick around!

Akali, The Rogue Assasin

Abandoning the Kinkou Order and her title of the Fist of Shadow, Akali now strikes alone, ready to be the deadly weapon her people need. Though she holds onto all she learned from her master Shen, she has pledged to defend Ionia from its enemies, one kill at a time. Akali may strike in silence, but her message will be heard loud and clear: fear the assassin with no master.

Akali’s Abilities

  • Passive, Assasin’s Mark: Spell damage to Champions creates a ring of energy around them. Exiting that ring will allow Akali’s next auto attack to gain additional range and damage.

  • Ability (1), Five Point Strike: Akali throws out five kunai, causing damage based on her extra attack power and spell power, and slowing down within the maximum range.

  • Ability (2), Twilight Shroud: Akali cast a layer of smoke, gaining movement speed and regaining energy briefly. In the shroud, Akali becomes invisible. Attacking or using skills will expose her briefly.

  • Ability (3), Shuriken Flip: Akali flips back and fires a shuriken forward, causing magic damage. The first enemy or smoke hit will be marked. Re-cast the sprint on the marked target, causing additional damage.

  • Ultimate, Perfect Execution: Akali jumped in one direction, causing damage to the enemies she hit. Re-launch the sprint in one direction and execute all the enemies she hits.

How to Play Akali

Runes

Before the game even starts it is very important to choose the right runes, so the champion can accelerate as much as possible and unleash her full potential.

Keystone: For Akali, you choose Conqueror as your keystone since it’s giving you a lot of AP and allows you to charge it really fast with a small combo. Once the Conqueror rune is charged you can deal tons of damage.

Conqueror Wild Rift

Slot 1, (Domination): For this, you go Brutal to have this AP and magic penetration during the early stages of the laning phase and being able to cleat your lanes as efficiently as possible.

Brutal Wild RIft

Slot 2, (Resolve): For this one, you will choose Hunter-Titan since Akali is team fight based Champion and can stack this rune really fast.

Slot 3, (Inspiration): For this, you will go Sweet Tooth since it’s giving you gold every time you consume the Honey Fruit and more health.

These are the runes that you should use. If some other runes suit you better you can try them out and leave a comment down below.

Skill Order

  • You always max your Ability (1) first since it’s the main damage in your kit and also the main ability for poking and clearing your waves.

  • The second one you max is Ability (3) which is your second source of damage and a very good ability to reposition yourself or even use it as an escape.

  • The last one you max is Ability (2) this one gives you true stealth and allows you to regenerate energy while you inside of it.

Combo’s

The main combo will always be Ability (1) and then auto attack to poke and harass during the laning phase. Once you reach level 5 you want to press your Ultimate then your Ability(3) reactivate it auto attack, Ability (1), auto attack, and reactivate your Ultimate to finish of your target. Here a video with all the possible combos you can pull off with Akali:

Another combo that is hard to pull off is, press Ability(3), auto attack, reactivate Ability (3), press Ability (1), walk back use your Ultimate on the target, auto attack, Ability (2), auto attack, Ability (1) and reactivate your Ultimate. You can always use your Ability (3) and Ultimate to reposition or even escape from dangerous situations. You can also use your shroud if you want to stall or wait for other abilities to come off cooldown.

Early game

Laning Phase: During the laning phase you want to stay safe if you are playing against a range match up and wait until you reach level 5 to roam or all in the enemy for a kill.

Akali Laning WIld Rift

If you are laning against melee Champions you want to harass them as much as possible and play around your shroud while poking them. Try to always have priority and help your jungler out if he needs you assistance on a Scuttle Crab.

Early drake fights: Before the drake spawns try to push your lane out and get priority so you can be able to move first while applying pressure on the enemy tower. During the drakes to get on the enemy backline or somehow kill their jungler. Another thing you can do is use your shroud to create space for your team and zone the enemy out.

Akali Dragon WIld Rift

Rift Herald: Try to push your wave out and be ready to help your jungler secure this objective, since it can help take down any tower on the map.

Akali Herald WIld Rift

Mid game

In the midgame, you want to either let the the enemy to push into your lane creating enough space, for you to be able to all in them, or you can keep pushing your lane and look for roam opportunities across the map.

The best lane to roam if you want its the Duo lane since it has the squishiest targets most of the time. At the dragon fights in the midgame, you will have to try to assassinate the enemy jungler and make play around your shroud to harass as many enemies as possible, to get a dragon as easily as possible.

Late game

Once the late game hits and you have enough items you will be a monster and almost unstoppable for the enemy team. You will have to punish everyone who is mispositioned or is overextended. Try to abuse your sidelane strength to push towers since there won’t be a single enemy that can handle you, forcing the enemy to send two or more members to get the job done.

Baron fight: Let your team engage and flank from the backside to assassinate as many carries as possible. If you do this you will probably win the whole fight get the Baron and end or almost end the game.

Itemization

You always start with an Amplifying Tome. On your first back, you preferably want to get a Haunting Guise if you have enough gold and if you don’t just build a Blasting Wand, getting both of them at the same time is ideal. Your first full item will be the Liandry’s Torment since you will be able to stack it really fast with your Ability (1) slow and your passive. For your second, you want to get is the Rabandons Deathcap for even higher DPS since it gives you tons of AP.  The third item is going to be the Oblivion Orb since it will make your abilities crit once the enemies are low enough and make you secure a lot of kills. Once you hit those 3 items you can one shot almost anyone on the map with a good combo.

The next item is going to be the Void Staff since it will make you able to even kill the tankiest members on the map Last but not least you are going to build a Lich Bane since it will work really well with your passive making you auto attacks hitting like a nuke. The go-to boots are the Mercury’s Treads since they give you Tenacity to be able to get out of stuns as soon as possible. You want to upgrade them to an Hourglass 90% of the time.

Akali’s counters

Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate (WIld Rift Splash Art)

One of the greatest Akali counters is Twisted Fate since he is able to reveal you, while you are in your shroud with his own Ultimate. Apart from this, he is a ranged midlaner that already makes you some problems in the early stages of the laning phase. When the enemy team has a Twisted Fate you should always try and wait out till his Ultimate runs out, to engage in the fight.

Lee Sin

Lee Sin (WIld Rift Splash Art)

One of the best counters against Akali is Lee Sin since most of his abilities can reveal you under your shroud and can be quite hard to play against it. Your ultimate goal is to avoid him as often as possible and try to play very safely in the fights searching for areas where Lee Sin isn’t present at the moment, to lay down your shroud.

How to play against midlaners

Katarina

Katarina Classic Splash Art

If you are laning against Katarina you have to stay away from her daggers and try to poke her level 1 as much as possible since Katarina won’t have abilities to jump. If you see Katarina start running to her daggers just use your Ability (3) to keep distance and be able to engage once her passive is used.

Diana

Diana (WIld Rift Splash Art)

The best thing to do when you are laning against Diana is, to keep trading her and not letting her run away. Even after a short trade, try to find opportunities to keep harassing her. Whenever Diana uses her Ultimate, use your Ability (3) to get out of range. You should always win all in after level 6.

Ziggs

ZIggs (WIld Rift Splash Art)

The best you can do against such a high-range poke midlaner like Ziggs is to push the lane towards him before he can do it. Since you won’t be able to reach him anyway try to find roams, or catch him when he is trying to roam.

Conclusion

Akali is a hard champion to play but can be very powerful and can hard carry your solo queue games once you are able to use her kit correctly. If you abuse all her stealth and mobility correctly you will see the true power of Akali and how strong she actually is.

Make sure to use the tips we presented you in this guide to unleash the full potential of Akali and be a true killed on the Rift. If you have any comments, questions, or feedback leave them below. Good luck climbing and see you soon Summoner!

Wild Rift Guide: How to Play Evelynn

In today’s article, we are going to show you Evelynn and how to play her In League of Legends: Wild Rift. Evelynn is an AP assassin with high burst and stealth. She is a very strong solo que champion.

Like every other champion, Evelynn has her own playstyle, strengths, and weaknesses. We’ll cover everything and more so stick around!

Evelynn, Agony’s Embrace

Inside the dim creases of Runeterra, the evil presence Evelynn looks for her next casualty. She baits in prey with the shapely façade of a human female, yet once an individual capitulates to her charms, Evelynn’s actual structure is released. At that point, she subjects her victim to unspeakable torture, satisfying herself with their torment. To the evil spirit, these contacts are blameless indulgences. To the remainder of Runeterra, they are fiendish stories of desire gone astray and awful tokens of the expense of wanton longing.

Evelynn’s Abilities

How to Play Evelynn

Runes

Before the game even starts it is very important to choose the right runes, so the champion can accelerate as much as possible and unleash her full potential.

Keystone: For Evelynn, you choose Conqueror as your keystone since it’s giving you a lot of AP and allows you to charge it fast with one combo. Once the Conqueror rune is charged you can deal tons of damage.

Conqueror Wild Rift

Slot 1, (Domination): For this, you go Brutal to have this AP and magic penetration during your first clear to get as soon as possible level 5. Furthermore, this rune helps a lot if you have early game skirmishes.

Brutal Wild RIft

Slot 2, (Resolve): For this one, you will choose Hunter-Titan since it gives you a lot of tenacity for each kill you do and some HP.

Slot 3, (Inspiration): The Hunter-Genius Rune gives Ability Haste and Ability Haste for every unique champion takedown. It will allow you to have a small cooldown on your Ultimate, so you can assassinate more often.

These are the runes that you should use. If some other runes suit you better you can try them out and leave a comment down below.

Skill Order

  • You always max your Ability (1) first since it’s the main damage in your kit and also the main ability while clearing your jungle.

Hate Spike Evelynn Wild Rift

  • The second one you max is Ability (3) which is your second source of damage in the jungle and during fights.

Whipslash Evelynn WIld Rift

  • The last one you max is Ability (2) this one isnt so important as the other two.

Allure Evelynn Wild Rift

Combo

The main combo will always be Ability (2) into Ability (1) or if you are in range (3) and then Ultimate. At the early stages of the game, you preferably want the charm to fully load so you can guarantee a kill. Later in the game, you can use the second ability as a slow and magic penetration but of course to charm if it is possible. Here a video with all the possible combos you can pull off with Evelynn:

Another combo is to just press Ability (3) and then Ability(1) if you see someone with low Health you can execute fast. In addition, you can do that but also use Ultimate if this isn’t enough to kill the target. Another trick you can do is to use your Ultimate as a gap closer and then press your Allure into Hate Spike into Whiplash.

Early game

Jungle clear: First of you want to start at your red side because this side is the easiest to cleat with your Hate Spike. You will start with red, the next camp will be your Krugs.

Evelynn Red Buff Wild Rift

From there you will go your Raptors and proceed to your blue side jungle.

Once you are on your blue side you will clear your Wolves,  proceed to your blue Buff, and then go and take the Scuttle crab.

Evelynn Wolves Wild Rift

If you do this clear, you will be level 5 faster than anyone else on the map.

Early game ganking: After you clear your jungle you will look for a gank on the side you will be, either it will be mid, Dragon or Baron lane depends on if the map is reversed. Take a look at which lane is pushed in, this lane will be the easiest to gank. The best case scenario will be to get their summoners and kill out of the gank. After a successful gank you can look for more ganks since you are invisible if you are low on health.

Evelynn ganking Wild Rift

Early drake fights: Before the drake spawns try to get level 7. Don’t ever start a drake alone! Try to dance around the dragon pit and provide vision with your invisibility for your teammates. If you see someone that is mispositioned kill them, preferably the enemy jungler. Then that’s the moment you want to start doing the drake with your teammates.

Evelynn Dragon Wild Rift

Rift Herald: Before you move to the Rift Herald you should gank their Baron laner, then move with him together to the Rift Herald and take it together.

Evelynn Rift Herald Wild Rift

Mid game

In the midgame, you want to ganks as often as possible and abuse your invisibility as much as possible. You will be able to get a lot of free ganks since no one can see you and apply pressure to all lanes.

The best lane to gank if you want to scale to a win is the Duo lane and your Mid lane. At the dragon fights in the midgame, you will have to try to assassinate the enemy jungler to get a dragon as easily as possible.

Late game

Once the late game hits and you have enough items you will be an absolute death threat for the enemy team. You will have to punish everyone who is mispositioned or is overextended. Try to abuse your invisibility to give your team info about the enemy team.

Baron fight: Let your team engage and flank from the backside to assassinate as many carries as possible. If you do this you will probably win the whole fight get the Baron and end or almost end the game.

Itemization

You always start with an Amplifying Tome. On your first back, you will always build a Needlessly Large Rod, preferably two of them. Your first full item will be the Rabadon’s Deathcap since its amplifying all your abilities making them do a lot of damage. For your second, you want to get is a Lich Bane for even higher DPS and a very good Ability (3) damage.  The third item is going to be a Void Staff since it will make you deal almost true damage to squishy targets and be able to penetrate tanky enemies. Once you hit those 3 items you can one shot almost anyone on the map with a good combo.

Evelynn Build Wild Rift

The next item is going to be the Oblivion Orb so you will be able to secure more kills and make your Ultimate very strong. Last but not least you are going to build a Morellonomicon to get more Magic penetration, some solid health, and anti-healing against ADC. The go-to shoes are the Ionian Boots of Ludicity, since they give you 15 ability Haste and have ult almost every time up. You have to be flexible about what you are going to upgrade your boots to.

Evelynn’s counters

Lee Sin

One of the greatest counters of Evelynn is Lee Sin. If you play against a Lee Sin don’t try to contest him early game on a Scuttle Crab. You will have to ward your blue in case he invades you. If he tries to late invade you just run away and let it be. If you avoid him early game often enough and get some items you will actually beat him since your scale so much better.

Vi

Vi (WIld Rift Splash Art)

The best way to counter Vi is to not pick Evelynn if they already picked her and actually play something else. But if it happens that you play against her try to avoid her 100% of the time and not get counterganked. If you get a lead against her you will have an easy time but if you fall behind you are going to have the worst time of your life. So be careful against a Vi.

How to play against other junglers

Shyvana

Shyvana (WIld Rift Splash Art)

If you see the enemy picking a Shyvana you are probably going to end up stomping her if you follow my instructions. When the game starts just spam ping to your team to invade Shyvana on her red. She doesn’t stand a chance level 1 against you. If the invade fails and you can’t kill her or she escapes just take her Raptors get level 2 and wait till she comes back to her red. This time you will be able to kill her and take her red. Go back buy an item and run straight to her blue. Don’t let her breathe until she gets to level 5. Try to contest every camp in her jungle. Once you have done that you will have such a massive lead that the enemy team is going to play practically 4 vs 5.

Wukong

Wukong (WIld Rift Splash Art)

The same thing you do to Shyvana you are going to do to a Wukong, but you will have to be careful with his clone.

Olaf

Olaf (WIld Rift Splash Art)

Try to avoid him in the early levels and not contest the crab. Once you get to level 5 fight the Olaf only if you are sure that he has no Ultimate up. If you kill him a few times like that you already won the jungle matchup.

Conclusion

Evelynn is a pretty easy champion if you want to solo carry game in your solo que. If you abuse all her kit correctly you will see the true power of Evelynn and how strong she can be.

Make sure to use the tips we presented you in this guide to unleash the full potential of Evelynn and be a true killed on the Rift. If you have any comments, questions, or feedback leave them below. Good luck climbing and see you soon Summoner!
