We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ve partnered with the LCS to bring in-depth stats and analysis to their new NA amateur ecosystem! It’s been one of our dreams for the GPI and the rest of our platform to be tools used at the professional level. Below, you’ll find our official press release that explains our involvement in detail.

LOS ANGELES, April 22nd, 2021 — Mobalytics, a personal gaming companion and analytics platform, announced the launch of its updated platform for a new amateur ecosystem created in collaboration with the League Championship Series (LCS), North America’s largest professional esports league.

The LCS’s new format demonstrates the league’s commitment to developing the North American amateur scene by creating new ways for LCS teams, tournament organizers and sponsors to support the growth of amateur competition.

“I’m excited about the LCS’s commitment to the amateur scene, and working with so many passionate players, staff, teams, and organizations has been invigorating. As we move forward we’ll continue to assess how we can better our processes and further the league’s development,” said Matt Nausha, Head of Amateur and Scholastic, LCS North America.

With more opportunities than ever for amateur players, the LCS and Mobalytics have created the first esports ecosystem and are closing the gap between solo queue and professional players — a similar structure which is found in traditional sports.

The new ecosystem is an effective solution in finding esports talents and covering the high demand for pro players that most esports teams are facing lately. In the past, it would have been much more difficult to directly measure potential recruits against current levels of talent, but now the differences in talent gaps became more clearly defined.

Outside of the revamped tournament system, the LCS has also shown its commitment to development by continuing and expanding their partnership with Mobalytics, which launched esports.mobalytics.gg alongside the new system.

Mobalytics, which was the official data partner for Scouting Grounds 2019 and 2020, designed its new esports site to help team scouts and fans alike follow the amateur action. The site provides stats, rankings, VODs, and other resources that make it easy to keep up.

“We’re happy to partner with the LCS and bring esports to the next level. With how much progress has been made in just a decade, I wouldn’t be surprised if in another few years, the path to pro may begin at highschool or perhaps earlier, with teams beginning to scout at a much younger age as they do in traditional sports such as NBA,” said Bogdan Sychyk, CEO and Co-Founder at Mobalytics.

The new format reaches its pinnacle at the final Proving Grounds tournament, which began March 30, 2021 and continues through April 25, 2021, where the best 16 teams are competing for the $100K grand prize.

Thanks for reading. If you head to our Mobalytics Esports site right now, you’ll be able to see player/team stats, tournament schedules, game VODs, and much more. Although we’re starting with the NA Amateur scene, we hope to eventually branch out to the other pro leagues. As always, we appreciate all feedback so let us know what you’d like to see added to our site!

Daemen College and Mobalytics, an analytics-based gaming assistant, are teaming up to strengthen and improve Daemen’s esports program.

Mobalytics, whose tools are used by professional esports teams and gamers around the world, will be providing advanced tools for Daemen’s League of Legends program.

Daemen, which founded its esports program in 2018, will be leveraging these tools primarily to scout and evaluate talent.

“Our team is a big believer in the future of the League of Legends collegiate scene. We’ve spent a lot of time with universities talking about their needs, and although they share some with professional teams, due to their responsibilities their training looks very different. We are looking forward to working with Daemen to help them scout new talent and help their current players become the best they can be,” said Amine Issa, Warchief of Science, and co-founder of Mobalytics.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Mobalytics as we continue to grow our esports program here at Daemen. This tools that Mobalytics has developed will greatly impact our ability to take our young program to the next level”, said Daemen esports head coach Patrick Ryan.

With the help of Daemen, Mobalytics aims to continue developing and optimizing their tools to help the next generation of upcoming talent accelerate their growth.

The timing could not be more relevant as the Golden Guardians have picked up two collegiate level players from Maryville, Niles and Iconic, as immediate starters for their LCS team.

Outside of scouting, the collaboration will also create new content which highlights the performance of Daemen’s team and individual players, such as their stats on different LoL champions.

T1 Invests in Esports Analytics Startup Mobalytics

PHILADELPHIA (May 13, 2020) – T1 Entertainment & Sports (T1) today announced its investment in Mobalyitcs, an esports analytics startup that analyzes in-game data to improve player performance.

The partnership with the leading player analytics platform provides T1 esports enthusiasts with their own personal gaming assistant and access to a community that is dedicated to helping video game fans master their favorite games.

“All of our players, coaches, and teams across the T1 portfolio rely on in-game analytics, which is why we thought it was so important to invest in Mobalytics,” said Joe Marsh, CEO of T1. “We are especially excited to collaborate with the Mobalytics team to help build out new training programs for Valorant so we can continue to see talent develop and grow within Riot’s new title.”

T1’s investment in Mobalytics will help accelerate training programs designed for Riot’s newest game release, Valorant. Mobalytics has done extensive research and development to determine what makes CS:GO players great at their craft and how that can be analyzed.

Since Valorant is a similar title, the team plans to leverage their CS:GO findings along with the help of T1’s expertise to develop Valorant analyses. Although Valorant is the immediate focus of the investment, Mobalytics’ long-term goal is to break new ground across all of competitive gaming, which currently includes League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra.

“We are very excited to be working with T1 and learn from elite staff and players like Faker and Brax, and elevate the way they train,” said Amine Issa, Warchief of Science at Mobalytics. “Our goal is to deliver value not only to pros and aspiring professionals, but to every player that wants to level up their game”.

About T1:

T1 is recognized as one of the most successful organizations in the history of esports, with players or teams in ten different competitive gaming segments. The T1 League of Legends team was founded in 2012 and the team has won three World Championships (2013, 2015 and 2016), two Mid-Season Invitationals, and nine LCK titles, making it the most celebrated esports team in the world.

T1 recently announced its plans to build a top-notch Valorant team, currently led by Coach “Frod” and currently consisting of professional players “Brax,” “AZK,” “Crashies,” and “Food.” T1 has hosted two Valorant tournaments since the game’s beta launch and is currently searching for its fifth professional player to round out its roster.

About Mobalytics
